Welcome to my new segment for 2018! This is a monthly review of my favourite makeup buy to help all of you gorgeous guys and gals out there decide what beauty brands to splurge on.
To kick start the season I thought I'd begin with a long-standing favourite of mine that was replenished this Christmas...
The Urban Decay Naked 2 eyeshadow palette.
I love this palette as the mixture of matte and shimmer shadows allows you to seamlessly mix day to night looks easily. These shadows also have mainly brown undertone which I feel highlights and compliments my orange toned hazel eyes.
All of the Urban Decay Naked palettes are highly pigmented and long lasting making them an amazing investment buy!
If you aren't sure which palette would suit you best, here is a rundown to give you some extra inspiration...
Naked - This is perfect for a beginner who loves a wide variety of shades to chose from. In my opinion more for evening wear, as some of the shadows, you may not get much use out of otherwise, for example, the blue-toned silver shade Gun Metal.
Naked 2 - This is perfect for all of you brown-eyed beauties, with lighter shades such as foxy and tease for every day, then the darker shimmers such as YDK for that evening smokey eye perfection.
Naked 3 - With its peachy pink tones and warmer shimmered shadows this is gorgeous with blue eyes as the contrast really draws out the amazing blues! These lighter shadows are also lovely on the paler skin as it creates warmth and depth.
Naked Smokey - The perfect night out palette! Smoke those eyes with the super soft brush as well as the blendable darker shadows.
Naked Heat - This is next on my purchase list for summer as these shades remind me of sandy beaches and long summer nights! These hot pinks and blendable peaches with darker colours for those summer parties is the go-to for your travel bag!
