Today I'm here with another fashion 101 to get your 2018 kick-started with style knowledge!
The topic for today's discussion is a trend which can be both ultra feminine and edgy and is perfect for the upcoming Spring/Summer season. It is of course lace.
This may seem daunting for some of you, or just remind you of weddings but have no fear! Lace can be worn for an everyday look: no husbands or posh parties required.
So without further ado, here are my top tips for wearing lace everyday...
~ T-shirts - A layering staple which is perfect for the upcoming Spring season! Whether you go fully lace or lace detailed there is no end of lacey style tops and tees on the market now! Simply style with jeans and boots and you are good to go girl!
~ Bralettes - These flirty pieces are perfect for adding lace to your wardrobe! These add comfort and sex appeal to a casual off the shoulder jumper in a second, keeping you on trend and feel fine. A huge favourite of mine to wear on chilled days with some amazing Victorias Secret bralettes around at the moment.
~ Jewellery - This may seem a strange one, but for an edgy look this season invest in a lace choker to give your look that feminine edge!
~ Dresses - This is a classic! You may think that lace dresses scream old fashioned but I am here to convince you otherwise! There are some amazingly sexy and fabulous dresses out there capturing this trend in bodycon styles as well as playsuits too! Check out Pretty Little Thing and Missguided for some lace style this season!
