Hello my Lovelies!
As you know well, you do if you're from the UK, it's getting cold outside! So we must wrap up and brave the outside so here I am to help! Here is my breakdown of winter coats...
Parkas
These are large coast usually fur or fluff lined that are perfect for snuggling up in on icy mornings or for winter walks. Mine has a fluff lined hood which is detachable and is green as is the most common colour for parkas. You can grab your own on the highstreet, mine's from Topshop, but you can go as low or high cost as you like! A perfect winter warmer!
Trench Coats
The classic trench coat lends itself to rainy days, it's light weight and effortlessly stylish. I love trench coats as they come in a variety from long and straight to flared, buttoned up, zipped no trench coat is the same! However, these aren't the best in the cold weather due to its lightweight but is perfect for those mild autumn showers!
Wool Coats
Wool coats provide the best of both a parka and a trench coat! They are warm but not as heavy as a parka and stylish due to their classic cut and range of colours, think Camel coat style in reds, greens and blacks. They're rain resistant but don't have a hood so you will have to carry an umbrella! I love wool coats due to their practicality and beauty!
Blanket Coats
One of my favourite winter styles! These are warm, soft blanket capes that wrap around an outfit to add glamour and warmth. They come in a variety of wool and cotton materials as well as colours and patterns. They are wonderful for a winter shopping trip or lunch with friends due to their style and comfort! Unfortunately, these aren't the best in the rain, but an amazingly stylish coat!
Thats all for today, don't forget to follow me on instagram @hellolottyx and to follow this blog to never miss a post!
