Hello my lovelies!

Today i'm going to talk to you about one of the major trends this Autumn/ Winter, of course it's the lace up detail.

This trend was huge towards the end of the summer months and has followed us into this season with skirts and shirts baring the lace. This trend adds detail and texture to your look while being as daring or conservative as you like with full lace front dresses or partial lace jumpers the fashion world is your oyster!

Some of the best places to shop for your perfect lace up piece are..
~ Forever 21
~ Hollister
~ Misguided

Heres my latest lace up from one of my favourites...

I hope this has given you the inspiration to embrace the lace!
Have an amazing day and i'll see you all soon.

Good morning my lovelies!

I hope you're having a splendid Sunday. Today I'm going to share with you my everyday make-up routine! So let's get started!

Firstly I always start with my Clinique moisture surge CC cream in the shade light medium. I love this as it proved the same full coverage as a foundation but with a light dewy feel, which is also really skin friendly! I blend this in with my Lottie London buffing brush.

Next brows and eyes! For my brows i'm loving Benefits new Gimme Brow which I featured in my earlier new make up blog post! I love this as it's so quick and easy to sweep on and go, while having perfect brows that last all day! For the eyeshadow my favourite Naked 2 pallet from Urban Decay is perfect! Today i used...
~ Tease for the crease colour
~ YDK for my outer corner
~ Chopper blended too my centre lid
~ Foxy and Booty Call in the inner corner of my eye blended into the Chopper
Finally eyeliner, my favourites are from Natural collection an amazing hughstreet brand for all budgets! They're liquid eyeliner lasts all day and is so easy to apply at just around £2.50 its a fabulous buy! Then i applied the Natural Collection white pencil eyeliner on my lower water line.

Cheeks and powder. I used the Bare Minerals Love Radiance blush on my cheeks and swept up onto my cheek bones to add a pop of colour and sparkle! Then i set the whole look with my trusty Benefit Hello Flawless powder in Me Vain Champagne. This i say favourite pressed powder as its so easy to apply stays all day and keeps all of my makeup in place, while being my perfect colour!

To complete this look I used my favourite autumn lipstick Twig by Mac as it shows a frosted darker pink perfect for this season!

Thats all for today, don't forget to follow me on instagram @hellolottyx and to keep checking my blog for your fashion, beauty, fitness and lifestyle fill!
Have a great day.

Hello my lovelies,

How are you this evening? I hope you're well and nice and cosy as tonight I thought we'd talk about sleep, specifically my bedtime routine.
Up until very recently I found it an impossible task to fall asleep before 3am and I hated the tired and drained feeling it left me with so with a lot of experimentation I found a bedtime routine that worked for me and got me getting my well earned beauty sleep!
So here it is...

Firstly i'd take off all of my make up and get into my pjs to save time later and make myself a nice hot drink, one of my favourites being Whittards flaked hot chocolate, while watching some TV or checking instagram, don't forget to follow me @hellolottyx. Then at around 10/11 usually I head up to bed and relax by listening to music or watching some chilled TV (my favourite at the moment is either QI or planet earth) and gradually drift off with the lights down until I'm very very sleepy. This probably all sounds very normal and obvious to you, but previously i'd be frantically writing essays or messaging everyone until the early hours! You'd be surprised how much difference it makes to plan your daily tasks, and if you want some inspiration on how to plan your time and motivate yourself, check out my previous post Morning Motivation!

So if you have trouble sleeping give this ago and see what you find! By organising your time you can relax knowing you've made the most out of everyday!
Sleep well guys and i'll see you soon!

Hello my lovelies!
I hope you're all having a wonderful Friday!

So today I'm talking colour! Many of you will have heard not to mix certain patterns, prints or colours but I'm here to tell you that you can! As you can see by today's outfit I'm mixing navy blue, green and gold with pinks! Sounds silly? Take a look.....

By keeping them with the same colour pallet of dark blue and lighter green it creates a colourful and interesting combination with gold and pinks brought in with accessories! The same goes for patterns as long as they share the same colour pallet go for it! Fashion should be fun and playing with colours and patterns is one of the best things about it so be unique and give it a try!

I'd love to see your patterned and colourful combinations so just tag me in your photos on Instagram @hellolottyx
I hope
You slay this Friday whatever you're up to!
See you soon!

Hello my Loveies!

Today my Barbas and Zacari Aspen watch was delivered, as you know if you're following my blog or instagram i collaborated with them to give you guys 20% all of their beautiful products, as they're an Australian bad company many of us here in the UK don't know much about them so heres my two sense about their watches to help inspire your latest shopping choices!

Firstly the face is beautiful in rose gold detail and very easy to read if you're a girl on the go racing to coffee a meeting or just for the bus. It's easy to adjust with a dial on the side to change the time wen traveling or for the initial set up. It doesn't feel heavy on the wrist as well as not getting in the way while typing writing or driving, which is a bonus in so many ways!

Secondly, the genuine leather strap is effortlessly classy and elegant while easy to maintain and durable. One of my favourite feature of this collection is that all of the straps are interchangeable so no matter what I'm wearing I know that it will compliment and add that extra detail to me outfit! However, one tiny drawback is that i have very small first and could do with an extra adjuster to make it tighter, but this ca be easily changed and added!

Overall, I love this watch due to it's classic, stylish and practical nature and I hope you guys go check them out at www.babasandzacari.com and don't forget it you are tempted use the code HELLOLOTTYX at the checkout to receive 20% off and free shipping to the UK!

I hope you enjoyed this review and if you want more fashion inspiration and advice don't forget to follow the blog at the bottom or right of the page and my instagram @hellolottyx
Have an amazing Thursday!

Hello my lovelies!

Recently i've been loving anything that sparkles and taking advantage of all the blingtastic pieces that have been in the stores this season! However, I know some of you are still a little scared to go head to toe glitter so i'm here to help you incorporate some shining touches into your collection!

The first and most common way is through jewellery which is a great place to start if you're completely new to bling! The bigger the better but nothing is stopping you from starting small. One of my favourite places for sparkling necklaces on a budget is New Look so check it out! Next if you're already loving the bling try jewel encrusted jumpers for a subtle touch or head out in head to toe sequins! River Island have an amazing collection of sequinned tops and jackets this season to add some more to your party dress or just everyday wardrobe!

This is my latest blingy purchase from TopShop...

I hope you love getting together your own collection of stand out or subtle bling and sequinned outfits as much as I love my new Jumper! Don't forget to follow me on instagram @hellolottyx and to follow this blog by using the blue button at the bottom or right of the page, for more updates and inspiration!

Hello my Lovelies!

How are you today? I've had a day off college so I've been roaming the shops at Birmingham and have returned with some new goodies! Let's take a look....

Victoria's Secret

The first stop in the list! The Birmingham store is probably my favourite in the country as it's light and spacious while stocking Pink! And not as crowded as the new Bond Street store, which is always a plus! As they had their new Christmas collection in I couldn't resist buying some Christmas themed underwear as well as stocking up on the new Body by Victoria collection too!

Topshop

One of my favourite fashion pit stops, where I could definitely spend all of my well earned cash. But today I managed to restrain myself (even though the thought of pay day so soon made me want to blow whats left of my money) and I only bought one beautiful jumper! its white with small crystal clusters dotted around, with cold shoulder slashes to just above the elbow! Will defiantly be wearing this soon so keep an eye on my instagram @hellolottyx to have a look!

Holister

Last stop on my travels today was the shop that smells like beach holidays, I found a dark red lace detail long sleeve top with a laced front. this is tight fitting and just a beautiful combination of girly and edgy, that you can style with jeans and thigh highs or a flowing skirt and heels. This is one of my favourite things about all of holsters collection there really is something for everyone!

Thats all for today guys but keep an eye on my instagram to see my new buys!
Have a great night, see you soon!

As the christmas shopping rush begins, shifts get longer as do the queues, but that doesn't mean your style has to slip!

Hello my lovelies, as you may have guessed today's post is all about the wonderful world of workwear! I'm lucky enough to work for the amazing Pandora, so my workwear includes lot's of fabulous jewellery, but for those of you who's dress code is strictly black or business wear here are some ideas to jazz it up and add style with detailed tops, uniquely cut blazers and high wasted skirts all while being dress code approved!

Mix textures and layer up for an exciting look, while still being conservative and professional, it also makes it easier to add or take off layers as you get hot or cold throughout those fast paced rushes! Some of my favourite places for workwear buys are ASOS and Next, as well as the occasionally gem from the highstreet favourite M&S!

Here is my workwear offering today!

Hope you enjoyed this post and to get more like this don't forget to follow me, and add me on instagram @hellolottyx.

To all my fellow Sunday Workers, have an amazing shift and to everyone else enjoy your day off!

Hello my Lovelies!

As you know well, you do if you're from the UK, it's getting cold outside! So we must wrap up and brave the outside so here I am to help! Here is my breakdown of winter coats...

Parkas

These are large coast usually fur or fluff lined that are perfect for snuggling up in on icy mornings or for winter walks. Mine has a fluff lined hood which is detachable and is green as is the most common colour for parkas. You can grab your own on the highstreet, mine's from Topshop, but you can go as low or high cost as you like! A perfect winter warmer!

Trench Coats

The classic trench coat lends itself to rainy days, it's light weight and effortlessly stylish. I love trench coats as they come in a variety from long and straight to flared, buttoned up, zipped no trench coat is the same! However, these aren't the best in the cold weather due to its lightweight but is perfect for those mild autumn showers!

Wool Coats

Wool coats provide the best of both a parka and a trench coat! They are warm but not as heavy as a parka and stylish due to their classic cut and range of colours, think Camel coat style in reds, greens and blacks. They're rain resistant but don't have a hood so you will have to carry an umbrella! I love wool coats due to their practicality and beauty!

Blanket Coats

One of my favourite winter styles! These are warm, soft blanket capes that wrap around an outfit to add glamour and warmth. They come in a variety of wool and cotton materials as well as colours and patterns. They are wonderful for a winter shopping trip or lunch with friends due to their style and comfort! Unfortunately, these aren't the best in the rain, but an amazingly stylish coat!

Thats all for today, don't forget to follow me on instagram @hellolottyx and to follow this blog to never miss a post!

As it's the season of fallen leaves and frozen ground I thought it was high time I updated my makeup collection from the peaches and coral tones of summer to a darker more sultry winter hue... so I went shopping!

First on the check list was benefits new brow collection! The Benefit 'Gimme Brow' was my product of choice. You can choose from three shades dark to light to help achieve fuller more defined brows in no time! Simply comb throw your brow and you're good to go! I love this product as it's so simple and easy to use but still delivers amazing results! I'd defiantly recommend it to anyone who wants a quick way to tame their brows without too much maitinece as it lasts all day too!

Secondly, eye shadows. As I put away my favuoute summer pallet where better to look for a new update than urban decay. Known for their naked collection I finally decided on the stunning naked 2 pallet with its mix of golds, browns and silvers it reflects the season perfectly while mixing matte and sparkle to provide Day and night time looks all with a sweep of the brush included. While there are some shades you won't use on a regular basis all of the colours are vibrant and perfectly pigmented that stay all day without the need for primer if you're in a hurry.

Lastly, lips! Even though I've tried many brands of lipstick on the past I keep coming back to MAC and once again I caved in adding three new shades to my collection. firstly Twig a darker, deeper colour that has roots in pink with brown undertones for a subtle but season appropriate everyday look. Ruby Woo to keep my desire for bright red lips under control with its matte finish it's easy to maintain but you do have to reapply throughout the day. And lastly D for Danger, a wild card shde of dark purple for me but I'm loveing it! It's not too bright for the day but adds an element of confidence and glamour to an evening look!

I hope you've enjoyed my beauty finds and don't forget to follow me at the bottom of the page for mobile or on the right had side if you're on a computer and on Instagram @hellolottyx
Thank you my lovelies,

Hello my lovelies! As I'm heading towards the beautiful city of Liverpool to see Alfie Boe and Michel Ball  I thought we should talk about eneving attire!
What are you options for a classy night out at a concert as oppose to going for cocktails or a meal well let's have a look.....

For a concert or trip to the theatre I'd choose something slightly more formal but no prom dresses please, you don't want to be confused as a cast member hehe! So I'd choose a skirt with a more formal jumper styled up with jewellery and bling paired with heels and a handbag! Alternately a conservative dress with leather jacket looks classically stylish and edgy!

Heres my outfit for tonight's performance...

Now for hitting that new cocktail bar on a girls night out I'd pair your favourite black jeans with a simple and stylish body suit with heels and a clutch! Some of my favourite bodysuits are from missguided, so be sure to check them out! This is the perfect event to mix the classic and sexy pair, leather and lace! Or if you're going out after wear your favourite slinky party dress with a light jacket over the top to smarten it up for your classy cocktail start to the evening!
Take a look....

Lastly a family affair or just a meal with work or friends wrap up in a stylish winter coat over jeans and a jumpers brightened by jewellery and a new winter lipstick to match!
PS. look out for my new autumn winter make up buys coming up on this blog soon!
If you're like me and love your food I'd avoid that new bodycon you've been dying to wear so you can much that chocolate fudge cake and cream safe in the knowledge your food baby is safely concealed!
This is my go to meal out style I hope you enjoy....

That's all for today guys I hope you've loved this post as much as I enjoyed putting it together! Don't forget to follow me on Instagram @hellottyx and to follow this blog to not miss a post by clicking the follow button at the bottom of the blog on mobile or on the right on the web!

Hello again lovelies!
Two posts in one day i'm on a roll!

Today I'm going to be talking about fluff, not the marshmallow kind, but fluffy winter clothes. I love snuggling into my cosiest winter jumpers on the cold days when I have to drag myself from bed, so what better to discuss as winter approaches than fluff!

Fluffy jumpers are not fur, they're not animal or synthetic but soft wool meaning that its soft and warm on the skin as well as animal friendly. They look good with layers while providing texture and fun to your outfit, as well as adding a unique flair from an average jeans and jumper combo! Some of my favourite jumpers of this ilk are from...
~ Forever 21
~ Topshop
~ asos

Heres my fluffy inspired outfit of the day!

Good Morning my lovelies!
How are we today?

I've woken up bright and early and as I sit in bed on my morning off with my cup of tea I think about all of the wonderful things in the world and how often we overlook them!
Can you guess what the most overlooked beauty is?
Yourself.
So many people will tell you that you aren't good enough or that you have to look, talk or act a certain way; well i'm here to tell you that you don't. One of the most beautiful things is individuality.
Speaking of this we all have unique and brilliant dreams and goals for our lives but how do you achieve them? This is where I come in with my top tips on motivation to achieve your goals!
1~ Make a list of the goals you want to achieve long or short term and add steps to get there. Then follow them!
2~ Always believe in yourself
3~ Dress to impress! If you look good you feel good simple as that.
4~ Never listen to haters.
5~ Be yourself and don't stress!

I hope that motivates you to go out and conquer the day! See you soon and don't forget to follow me on instagram @hellolottyx and subscribe to never miss a post!

As much as I love my heels high, low and stiletto as the ground starts to freeze it's enevitable that I'll slip trip and snap my shoes and make a fool out of myself! So this year I've made a stand. This year I've bought my new favourite boots. Timberland classic black boots.

These are beautiful and practical and go with absolutely anything making my life and wardrobe choices so much easier! While not having a heel they are slightly raised soul giving me and the fellow vertically challenged some well needed height! The grip on the bottom stops any slips or trips on ice so no more embarrassing moments! And look how pretty they are....
