Hello there my lovelies!

Today i'm here with a lifestyle post for you! I'm going to be telling you my favouite winter activites, drinks and little things to do to make you smile this snowy December.

I know it can be depressing when you're cold, tired and waiting for those new year celebrations to start, so i'm here with my top 10 things to do, drink and eat this cold season to cheer you up and fill you with festive spirit!

1 - Baileys Hot Chocolate ~ Need I say anymore... This is my life blood in winter!

2 - Catch up with old friends ~ This is the perfect time of year for a catch up when everyone has returned home from university and travelling for the holidays. So plan a date and catch up with your long gone bestie!

3 - Invest in a new cozy jumper ~ This one is always a cute and practical winter pick me up! Spluge on a new jumper this season to keep you warm and put a smile on your face with some retail therapy!

4 - Visit a Christmas market ~ This never fails to put me into the christmas spirit, and as you can see from my instagram (looksbylotty) this year is no exception!

5 - Grab a festive drink ~ This is a favouirte of mine and always lifts my spirits! Switch up your morning coffee regular for a festive treat to add some sparkle and christmas magic to the rest of your day.

6 - Sing! ~ Singing is a huge part of my life as a musical theatre buff and performer but I believe that carols at christmas and all of those cheesy hits we hear year in and year out really do raise a smile! So put your favourite christmas hit on and sing your heart out!

7- Lush it up! ~ Another one of my favouite winter me time picke me ups is grabbing a festively sented bath bomb from lush to make my bath time extra luxurious!

8 - Plan for the sales! ~ Look ahead to boxing day and January bargins through scrowering through those high end websites you've been browsing for months! This is a fantatsic way to while away an hour or two... or ten

9 - Festive Film Time ~ We all have those films that we watch every year and always put a smile back on our faces no matter how many times we've seen them before. For me its National Lampoons Christmas Vaction (If you've never seen it watch it... NOW)

10 - Tis the Season for love and family ~ Recconect with those closest to you this holiday season to bring endless smiles and create happy memores with your treasured family and loved ones. After all chirstmas time is family time.

I hope you've enjoyed these tips and comment on my posts if you try out any of them! I'd love to hear from you!

Have an amazing day!
See you soon!

Hello lovelies,

Long time no post! I'm so sorry but I've been so busy recently, but never fear I'm back with your fashion fix!

To kick start my return, here are the latest fashion trends for this winter season...

 Faux Fur

This trend is absolutely everywhere this winter, from the high-end catwalks to the aisles of Primark fur is back. Go all out with an on style monochrome white or black coat or simplify it with a fur hairband or lined parka hood!

Take a look at my own subtle fur look...

Parka - Topshop
Headband - Primark

Sequins

Your Christmas part saviour, sequins are here to save the day!
From full glitz dresses or the perfect party top this is your go-to this season. Check out nightwear hotspots Missguided and Pretty Little Thing for a collection of amazing outfit ideas and inspiration, or treat yourself to a fabulous pair of bejewelled heels to top it all off!

Chenille

This comfy casual turned catwalk smash is back straight from the 1980's! These soft jumpers are perfect for wrapping up warm this winter and are right on trend this season. Whether you go bold and metallic or more muted a chenille jumper is a must have this year!

These are my top three winter trends this year so get out and have a look for these seasonal sensations!

I hope you've enjoyed this post and don't forget to follow me on here and instagram to never miss a look by Lotty again!
